Espinoza Carbajal, offers mainly Dominican and Puerto Rican dishes, such as pollo guisado - chicken stew - and papa rellena, a stuffed potato ball with ground beef filling.

SOUTHINGTON- New digital elements incorporated in Cava Restaurant's "Wicked"-inspired display gives an interactive experience to the journey back to Oz. "We worked with a video production company that helped us with a lot of this experience," said Tony Papahristou, Cava's general manager. After about six months of designing the restaurant's experience room, which was the over-the-top Santa's North Pole and "Beauty and the Beast" before that, was transformed into a "Wicked" dining experience.

PLAINVILLE- The former Cottage Restaurant building is officially gone, but a new project is coming to take its place. The site at 427 Farmington Ave. that once held a "cozy" cafe and bar will be transformed into a new mixed-use development. It will join other businesses on the street, including Rebel Dog Coffee, Hungry Bull Burger and Zen Bar.
