SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Valentine, Nebraska man, was sentenced Monday on seven counts of abusive sexual contact. Christopher Franklin Beauvais, 41, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, according to a Tuesday press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of South Dakota. Between June 2006 and November 2012, Beauvais repeatedly sexually abused three adolescent girls between the ages of 12 and 15 years old in Mission. The abuse happened in a home, his workplace and in public.

Gabe Montgomery, 16, entered his plea in the Charles Mix County Circuit Court, according to the S.D. Office of the Attorney General. His case was transferred to adult court in the spring of 2024. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in finding Reno Rondeaux, who is a person of interest in a criminal case involving an incident that happened Saturday. According to a Facebook post on Saturday, Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety (OSTDPS) and the FBI is looking for Rondeaux. Rondeaux was last seen around the Manderson, South Dakota area.
