The city of Sioux Falls has announced the areas for its annual NICE/KEEP project, which allows residents to discard items along the curb that city employees will pick up. The project, now in its 35th year, will run now until May 2. Items placed on the curb should only be from residents at a specific address, and should not contain household garbage, animal waste, hazardous materials or electronics, according to a release.

The director of Siouxland Libraries will retire June 20 after eight years in the position, according to a news release from the city of Sioux Falls. “In my career as a librarian, what has mattered most to me is connecting people with the stories, answers, and inspiration they didn’t even know they were looking for and doing this alongside a team whose dedication and heart made it all worthwhile,” library director Jodi Fick said in the release.
