Victims identified in Angleton shooting

ANGLETON — The co-owner of Thermal Polymer Systems and her son have been identified as the two people who died in a shooting at the business. Darla Murrell, 66, and 37-year-old Devin Murrell died of gunshot wounds at a Houston hospital after being shot Monday morning, according to Angleton Police Department. Darla Murrell and her husband, Donnie, owned the business in the 900 block of South Velasco Street, which they opened 30 years ago.
