The App State women’s tennis team swept Georgia State 4-0 Saturday, marking win No. 16, the most single-season victories in program history. The Mountaineers grabbed the doubles point with victories from the pair of freshman Ruby Broadbent and sophomore Naledi Manyube, as well as the duo of freshman Alexi Cleveland and senior Olwyn Ryan-Bovey. Manyube kept the dice rolling with a 6-1, 6-3 win in her singles match. Junior Savannah Dada-Mascoll followed suit, defeating her singles opponent 6-3, 6-2.

The App State women’s tennis team extended their win streak to 5 games with victories over Arkansas State and University of Louisiana-Monroe Saturday and Sunday. The Mountaineers grabbed the doubles point against Arkansas State Saturday with wins from the duo of junior Savannah Dada-Mascoll and sophomore Taya Powell, as well as the pair of freshman Ruby Broadbent and sophomore Naledi Manyube. Powell dropped her singles match, allowing the Red Wolves to knot things up at 1 in the race to four wins.

The Mountaineers traveled to Norfolk, Virginia, where they began conference play with a 5-2 loss to the Monarchs. Old Dominion took the early lead in doubles with a 7-5 victory over the duo of junior Savannah Dada-Mascoll and freshman Ruby Broadbent.

March 2, 2025 App State men’s basketball concluded their regular season Friday with a 75-57 road loss against the Marshall Thundering Herd. The teams came in on opposing trajectories with the Thundering Herd riding a 3-game winning streak, and the Mountaineers had lost 2 straight. Following an intercepted pass from graduate student forward CJ Huntley, Marshall converted on an and-one opportunity with 16:01 remaining in the first half to take a 11-1 lead.
