KENT COUNTY, DE - Police say a Dover man died after a collision on North Dupont Highway. Delaware State Police say the collision happened on May 30, around 7:47 p.m. According to state police, a minivan stopped at Rose Bowl Road pulled out in front of a motorcycle traveling south on North Dupont Highway. Troopers say the collision caused the motorcycle driver to be ejected. The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man from Dover, was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

KENT COUNTY, DE - A Harrington man is facing charges for theft and arson of a vehicle. The Milford Police Department say on May 20, they received two reports regarding a stolen vehicle and attempted stolen vehicle that occurred at the Milford Movies 9, in the 900 block of North DuPont Boulevard. Investigators say the suspects set one of the stolen motor vehicles on fire after stealing it. The arson investigation was turned over to the State Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation.

DNREC is reminding anglers that surf fishing reservations are required during summer weekends and holidays at any of Delaware State Parks’ seven multi-use beaches. Reservations can be made starting at 11 a.m., on May 20.

DOVER, DE - Police are investigating the cause of a deadly motorcycle crash. The Dover Police Department identified the victim as 58-year-old Carlos Thomas, of Dover. Police say the crash happened on Sunday, May 11, around 4 a.m., in the area of White Oak Road and Garrison Oak Drive. Police responded to the scene and reportedly found Thomas ejected from the motorcycle, laying in the field off the roadway. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene.

POCOMOKE CITY, MD - State police are investigating a reported shots fired incident on early Mother's Day. Maryland State Police say on Sunday, May 11, around 1:30 a.m., troopers responded to shots fired in the 4300 block of Stockton Road. Investigators say shots were fired into a home from a vehicle. No injuries were reported, according to state police. Troopers are asking anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack at 410-641-3101.
