    We flew over a site that few Central Texans have seen — even among longtimers. It's our job to not just cover what's happening, but also explore what's to come. So we recently surveyed Milam County, including the soon-to-be-budding land that is Rockdale, Texas. It's about an hour's drive northeast from downtown Austin when traffic is light. It has a quaint Main Street — but quiet. While we were there, we flew over a site that few Central Texans have seen, even among longtimers: the old Alcoa Corp.
