There’s a new restaurant serving Japanese-Latin fusion in Wynwood. Casa Crudos is a collaboration between Puerto Rican reggaeton star Zion (formerly of Zion & Lennox, which disbanded last year) and twins Daniel and JC Rosario. When you dine at San Lorenzo, the new Italian restaurant in Miami that just opened near the Little River neighborhood, you need to answer only one question: Meat or seafood? You don’t need to specify what type of seafood or how you would prefer that meat cooked. That part is up to the chef. For you, it’s carne or pesce. There is no menu. There’s only a choice — pasta with lobster and prawns, or a lasagne Bolognese — and once you make your decision, the kitchen does the rest.

After 15 years of sharing gorgeously gooey, cheesy goodness, a popular Miami sandwich restaurant is closing its doors. Ms. Cheezious, which was opened by Christian Dickens and husband-and-wife team Brian and Fatima Mullins, started in 2010 as a roving food truck. The Mullins opened their first brick-and-mortar spot in the MiMo district in 2015 at 7418 Biscayne Blvd., serving up melts like the grilled blue (cheese) and bacon, a short rib melt and a very Miami croqueta monsieur melt.
