    SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - As the weather warms up, construction will pick up across the tri-state area. The Iowa State Patrol is urging drivers to slow down in construction zones, and stick to posted speed limits at all times. ISP is asking drivers to be patient when going through those construction zones. “There’s a lot of people that will tailgate, road rage, or they like to pass on the shoulder because they want to get to the next spot quickly,” said Iowa State Patrol Trooper Karen Yaneff.

    SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - The Siouxland Community Health Center held a celebration in South Sioux City, Nebraska Saturday night to raise money for programs that they offer to the community. The health center provides medical, dental, HIV, family planning services, and much more, to around 100,000 Siouxlanders every year; all under one roof. Saturday night, the health center hosted a dinner and fundraiser to celebrate their workers while they raised money.

    SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Easter Sunday is still a little over a week away, but that didn’t stop Siouxlanders from getting in on the festivities a little early. This morning in Grandview Park, 15,000 Easter eggs were collected by kids of all ages at the KG95 easter egg hunt. The annual easter egg hunt has been a staple at Grandview Park for over 30 years. “It’s an awesome event that we continue, and hope to continue each and every year,” said Rob Powers with KG95, who was also the emcee for the event.

    SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - In a special meeting, Friday, the Sioux City Community School Board accepted the resignation of a district staff member. The board members called the meeting to order, then moved to closed session. After 41 minutes, the board members emerged from their closed session and voted 5-1 in favor of accepting the resignation, Lance Ehmcke was absent, and Earl Miller was the lone ‘nay’ vote.
