The alarm was raised late last night after the man, who had gone fishing at Lough Corrib yesterday, was overdue to return. A search for the man was carried out by the Irish Coast Guard with assistance from local gardaí and local search and rescue agencies. Coast Guard helicopters Rescue 115 and Rescue 118 were deployed to the scene of the search, which has now been stood down.
