The polls are now open for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s annual Paint the Plow competition. The competition sees high school students around Northwest Pennsylvania painting the blade of a snow plow. Each year, the students model their designs from a theme that emphasizes safety. This year’s theme is “use your reason when it’s freezing.”The public is now tasked with voting for their favorite design. Voting is open through December 15. The toy drive benefits Toys for Tots of Erie County. EMTA will continue collecting donations until 7 p.m. at Millcreek Mall in the parking area near Primanti Brothers.

The community can donate new, unwrapped, non-violent toys… An EMTA Bayliner Trolley was on hand at the mall to collect the donations.
