NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Some people in Clarksville still cannot go home since their neighborhoods remain flooded from this weekend’s storms. They want the city to fix what they say is an ongoing problem before another storm hits. Neighborhoods in Clarksville were still underwater Tuesday, three days after Saturday night’s storms. “We need help,” one homeowner said. “The city has not given us enough answers,” another said.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Homes hit by the December 2021 tornadoes in Kingston Springs were struck yet again over the weekend. A tree fell on Brad Green’s bedroom during the December 2021 tornado outbreak in Kingston Springs. Saturday night, another tree fell on the exact same spot at his home. “It happened too quickly to be scared,” Green said. “We were in shock.”Green and his wife said they were home when it happened. Green said it all lasted about 15 seconds.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A neighborhood in Clarksville was underwater after Saturday night’s storms. It is the second time the neighborhood has flooded in less than two months. Residents said they worry it will happen again if changes are not made. Cars, mailboxes and homes were submerged in water in the Woodstock neighborhood of Clarksville Sunday. People like Thomas Brimage could not get to their homes to see the damage because the road was still underwater. “Six feet of water,” Brimage said.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) – Families whose loved ones died at a Tennessee plastic factory during flooding from Hurricane Helene say they were recently hit with a “slap in the face” from the company when they received fast food gift cards. Flooding from the hurricane hit the Impact Plastics factory in eastern Tennessee on Sept. 27 and killed six workers. Lawsuits filed against the company say that the deaths were preventable, claiming that employees had asked to leave work but were told no.
