    LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Crime Stoppers is looking for people involved in two separate burglary cases that happened within a month of each other. The first one happened back on May 26, at a storage facility near 53rd and Cornhusker Hwy. Around 6 p.m., two people were captured on camera using bolt cutters, opening at least eight different units. While nothing has been reported missing, police are still looking for the suspects, who arrived in a gray or silver Chrysler 300 with no plates.

For Lincoln’s only homeless shelter, space is at a premium.     LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Memorial Day honors those US military members who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the armed forces, but 2025 also marks 50 years since the Vietnam War ended. Some who lost their lives more than 50 years ago, still mean a lot to those living today. Ralph Lee Church was born on July 15, 1947 in Hickman. He graduated from the Norris School District in 1965, then joining the US Army and heading over to Vietnam, according to those at American Legion Post 105.

    LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A long-anticipated trail connecting Lincoln and Omaha continues to move forward despite a recent funding cut and design rejection by Cass County officials. The project, which has been in the works for nearly two decades, took a hit after the Nebraska Legislature cut $3.3 million from the state’s trail development earmark and the Cass County Board declined to approve the proposed design for the MoPac Trail connection.

    LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Crime Stoppers is looking for two different suspects in two different larceny cases. On April 7 around 5:30 p.m., a man was captured on camera at Anderson Library at 58th Street and Touzalin Avenue. According to Lincoln Crime Stoppers, he walked up to a kid’s bike on the bike rack, jumped on and left with it. The child’s dad called to report this, and the library provided a video of the incident. The man is described as a Black, bald and possibly in his 40s.
