LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. (WSVN) — A Palm Beach County nurse is battling for her life after a patient attacked her while on the job, authorities said. Investigators said the patient, identified as 33-year-old Stephen Scantlebury, beat up the victim while she was working at HCA Palms West Hospital, Tuesday afternoon. The brutal beating resulted in the patient breaking almost every bone in her face and leaving her at risk of losing both eyes, according to the arrest report.

MIAMI (WSVN) - A big wedding took place on the steps of the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, as 20 couples tied the knot on the most romantic holiday of the year. 7News cameras captured the couples walking up the steps of the historic building on Friday, as they took part in the annual Valentine’s Day tradition. “It’s one of my favorite days of the year, I’m incredibly excited,” said Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts and Comptroller Juan Fernandez-Barquin.
