Meijer is opening three new supercenters in Northeast Ohio, the Walker-based grocery store brand announced on March 18. This will bring the total store count to 58 in Ohio. All three will open on May 8. Vice President Kamala Harris won Verona, but lost the general election to former President Donald Trump. According to the unofficial results, Trump received 3,541 Verona votes this time, down from 3,693 in 2020 but up from the 3,224 he got in 2016. Harris got 4,908 Verona votes, down from 5,507 for President Biden in 2020 but much more than the 3,783 votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
