    Even though it’s his busiest time of year, Santa Claus is carving out time in his tight schedule to visit various villages to light Christmas trees and chat with children, such as he did last Saturday evening in New Oxford. The Nov. 25 trip from the North Pole to New Oxford went off without a hitch, but the lack of snow caused a bit of a tricky landing, Santa said. “There was no snow for a landing” on Center Square, Santa said. “So, I landed at the fire station and rode in on a fire truck,” he said.
