The 54-year-old Kidrick wound up closing out his career in a manner most people can only dream of. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is looking for at least two men suspected of being involved in the fatal hit-and-run of a 29-year-old Winchester man on Monday evening. Payton Dixon III was struck and killed after exiting his vehicle at a red light and getting into a physical altercation with another man at the intersection of Front Royal Pike (U.S. 522 South) and Maranto Manor Drive, according to a Sheriff’s Office media release.

WINCHESTER — A Winchester man accused of firing multiple shots at a neighbor’s home and vehicle Sunday afternoon has been denied bond. Richard Stephen Moreland, 63, was ordered held without bond Tuesday in Winchester General District Court by Judge Mary Costello Daniel. He is being held at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.
