    Days after the new bridge collapsed across Then Pennai river in Tiruvannamalai, residents in Thondamanur, a reserved panchayat, are back to their old ways of trekking 20 km to reach Thandrampattu , the nearest town, for basic needs. The high-level bridge collapsed after the release of over two lakh cusecs of rainwater from Sathanur dam by WRD on Tuesday.
