The New Indian Express
The New Indian Express is a daily newspaper published in English, based in Chennai, India. It operates as a broadsheet and is part of Express Publications. The paper was established in 1932 as the Indian Express by P. Varadarajulu Naidu, who was from Chennai. After the passing of owner Ramnath Goenka in 1991, the Goenka family divided the organization into two separate companies. At first, both companies continued to use the Indian Express name and shared editorial and other resources.
