    SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a fatal crash that happened at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28. The incident happened in the 4200 block of N. Market Street. Witnesses told police that a car was heading southbound when it suddenly veered off the road, crossed the median, hit a tree and turned on its side. The driver was identified as Eula Foster. She was taken to a hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

    SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police arrested a man for alleged sexual assault in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 3. Officers arrived to the 100 block of East Lister Drive at around 2 a.m. After an investigation, detectives identified Kron White as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with second-degree rape. White faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.

    SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police are looking for the person who shot into a home and injured a man on Monday, June 2. The incident happened at around 9 p.m. on Jefferson Paige Road near Galaxy Lane. SPD says a man was sitting inside his home when a bullet came through the wall and grazed him.     SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - On June 2, Caddo Parish Commission President Stormy Gage-Watts expressed concern about the sudden closure of the Shreveport Job Corps Center. Shreveport’s Job Corps was ordered to shut its doors and stop operations by the U.S. Department of Labor after more than 45 years of service. A representative with the center says that 99 Job Corps centers nationwide are pausing operations by June 30.
