BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - The City of Bossier City is honoring fallen law enforcement officers with a ceremony on Wednesday, May 14. Officials with Bossier, Shreveport and Caddo are expected to take part in the ceremony. Mayor Tommy Chandler and Mayor Tom Arceneaux will present a joint proclamation. Officials say Police Week, May 12-16, is a time to show gratitude for the public servants that put themselves in harm’s way and lost their lives in the line of duty.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police responded to reports of a fight at a head start graduation after 10 a.m. on Monday, May 12. The incident happened on St. Vincent Avenue. Upon arrival, officers learned two people had gotten into a fight. After the initial interaction, Demarcusse Brown left the property, retrieved a firearm later determined to be stolen, and returned to campus to escalate the conflict.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is looking for two convicted sex offenders that have failed to register in accordance with Louisiana law. Jamie Collins was convicted of aggravated rape. He is classified as a Tier Three Sex Offender, which requires lifetime registration. Officials say he has a history of non-compliance and four prior convictions for failing to register as a sex offender. James Reagan was also convicted of aggravated rape and is required to register for life.

Water services have been shut off in order for crews to make emergency repairs.
