It later became clear that Alison Anders had fled justice in Aberdeen in June 1988 for Abu Dhabi – and then upped sticks once more. In August 1988, Anders left Abu Dhabi and flew to Singapore and then onwards to Vancouver in Canada. She then took a Greyhound bus and ended up in Portland, Oregon.
