BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - After a few scattered storms last night, things will heat up today as highs approach the middle 90s with feel-like temperatures in the lower 100s across the viewing area. The heat and humidity will bring some small chances for pop-up thunderstorms over the next couple of days. Another chance for strong storms will be in place overnight tonight as the entire WBKO viewing area is under a Slight (2/5) risk for severe weather late tonight into early Wednesday morning.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - High heat and humidity rolls into the region today, which will prompt a few afternoon storm chances for today. Not everyone will pick up on rain, but those that do will have the chance for some gusty downpours. The entire WBKO viewing area is under a Marginal (1/5) risk for some possible strong storms today. The main threat will be gusty winds in any thunderstorm that develops. Widespread, long-lasting severe weather is not anticipated.

Drier conditions will bring hotter temperatures not only today but especially Tuesday as highs reach into the middle 90s with feel-like temps in the low 100s.
