With as much energy as ever, the Barnwell Dixie Ponytails are state champions for the third year. The Ponytails is the 12-year-old division.

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - If you like basketball, Peach Jam is the place to be. These kids are really talented, and there’s a solid chance that some of the players balling out could play in college and maybe even make it to the NBA. Westside High School’s Dontrell Jackson and Jet Academy were back on the court taking on the Indy Heat. The first half was solid, but the second half didn’t go their way, falling 87-62.

The one and only Dawn Staley stopped by to soak in everything Peach Jam has to offer. The Gamecocks three-time national championship-winning head coach is fresh off completing a perfect undefeated season. On top of enjoying the games, she made time to speak with some of the younger fans, which was pretty cool to see.
