(WJHG/WECP) - A picture-perfect weekend is coming for Northwest Florida!Friday afternoon, a cold front sparked a few pop-up showers and thunderstorms south of Highway 20, with pea-sized hail observed along a line from Bayou George to Scott’s Ferry. The rain exited quickly, and the front passed shortly after, with breezy northwest winds helping us filter in a drier and cooler air mass this evening. This weekend features cool mornings but mild afternoon highs.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Hurricane Debby has made landfall near Steinhatchee, Florida as a category 1 storm with maximum winds of roughly 80 mph. As of 6:00 a.m. Monday, Debby continues to bring a combination of heavy rain, storm surge, and damaging winds to the Big Bend. Tropical-storm-force winds, heavy rain, and potentially some severe weather will continue east of I75 in North Florida throughout the day.

Racing Prodigy is taking some of the top gaming talent from around the world and putting them in real race cars, on real race tracks. The championship will feature 24 drivers and six reserve drivers, who have all earned their spots after a long selection process.
