DEARBORN, MICH (Fox 2) - One man succumbed to his injuries after being pulled from a burning house shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday night in Dearborn. Fire Chief Joseph Murray said crews arrived around 8:07 p.m. to a house in the area of Harding and Carlysle where they found a house fully engulfed in flames. After making some ventilation holes, the crews rushed into the house to look for people where they found a man collapsed in the hallway.

DUNDEE, MICH (Fox 2) - The Dundee High School wrestling team has been "paused" pending the outcome of an investigation into a complaint lodged against the team. In a letter sent to the community on Friday, Supt. Scott Leach announced an investigation being conducted by the high school administration and school resource officer, and an additional Title IX investigation that has been started by the Thrun Law Firm.

PONTIAC, MICH (Fox 2) - Trevor Andrew Scarbrough, 33, was arrested at his Pontiac home Thursday evening after police alleged he had been trafficking a woman for more than a year. Scarbrough was arraigned Saturday morning on multiple charges that, if convicted, will give him up to 20 years in prison. Oakland County Sheriff’s detectives from the Fugitive Apprehension Team and the Human Trafficking Task Force executed a search warrant at the home after receiving a tip.

ANN ARBOR, MICH (Fox 2) - University of Michigan President Santa Ono announced his intentions to resign and take the same job at the University of Florida. In a message sent to the University of Michigan students, faculty and staff, Ono said that he will likely assume the new role later this summer once the appointment is approved by Florida's board of governors. "I have informed the Chair of the University of Michigan Board of Regents, Kathy White, of my decision," he wrote.

Ali Saad, a defensive end, from Bowling Green State University and an alumnus of Dearborn High School was the first defensive lineman and fourth overall pick in Tuesday night's Canadian Football League Draft. Saad has started 26 straight games for the Falcons as a defensive end, but may shift to defensive tackle in the CFL, based on his size. He was a 2025 Academic All-MAC selection.
