INGHAM COUNTY, MICH (Fox 2) - A 17-year-old boy was killed in a crash on I-96 near Meridian Road in Ingham County just after 7 a.m. April 19. The crash involved a single vehicle that was headed west on I-96 when it veered off the road at about 7:20 a.m. The sedan rolled several times. In addition to the deceased, a 22-year-old who was driving, and a 20-year-old passenger were both injured.

DUNDEE, MICH (Fox 2) - Just before 5:30 p.m. Friday, an SUV crashed into a house in the 100 block of Monroe Street in Dundee. According to the Dundee Police Department, the driver was a 35-year-old woman from Sylvania, Ohio who had a medical condition. The driver "abruptly" left the road and struck the house. She was taken to an area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The house had "considerable" damage according to police.

HOLLY TWP., MICH (Fox 2) - A pair of Michigan State Police Troopers made quick work of locating and rescuing Potato on Friday afternoon. The Troopers spent about 15 minutes searching for and rescuing the 4-year-old Boston Terrier as she was running around on and near I-75 in Holly Township. Troopers arrived just before 3 p.m. to find numerous citizens chasing a dog across the open freeway travel lanes with traffic speeding by.

ST CLAIR SHORES, MI (AP) - Police were called to a house on Roy Street and 11 Mile just after noon Saturday for an "altercation," where they found a woman's dead body. According to St. Clair Shores police, "The female appeared to have died from unnatural causes."Police said the male resident was arrested and is being lodged in the Macomb County Jail. Authorities said they were still gathering evidence around 6 p.m. Saturday, and that the investigation is ongoing.

A chase broke out in Shelby Township around 4 p.m. Sunday after a man allegedly used the butt of a long gun to bust windows out of at least one other car. Police started to chase the man, which ended up near 35 Mile Road and Van Dyke in Bruce Township, where the man allegedly got out of his white Jeep and opened fire on officers. Michigan State Police 1st Lt. Mike Shaw, said that the man was using a long gun, and had four additional guns in his vehicle that were discovered after he was arrested.
