    MERRIMAC — A Brockton man arrested after a SWAT team surrounded an Amesbury home Wednesday was sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for a mental health evaluation following his arraignment that afternoon on multiple charges from two police departments. Following his arraignment in Newburyport District Court, 30-year-old George Goodwin was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail.     NEWBURYPORT — A routine traffic stop Thursday night resulted in local police arresting two people on drug and gun charges. Charles Allen Jr., 58, of Seabrook was charged with possession of a Class B drug, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a dangerous weapon (four counts) and possession of ammunition without an FID card (two counts). Local woman Susan Devlaminck, 49, was charged with possession of a Class B drug.
