LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — A tornado watch has been issued for parts of South Carolina as well as Georgia Monday afternoon. The watch covers the entire Lowcountry of South Carolina from the Savannah River to the Santee River, according to the National Weather Service. The watch expires at 1 a.m, but could possibly be extended longer based on the conditions. This comes as the Lowcountry continues to feel the impacts of Tropical Storm Debby, which made landfall as a Hurricane in in Florida.

LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — Friday will be another Storm Tracker Day in the Lowcountry due to the threat of strong gusty winds and the possibility of severe thunderstorms. The threat will likely be late Friday afternoon into Friday night. News 4 meteorologists don't expect this storm to be quite as potent as the one that just passed through on Tuesday, but it will be a very similar storm system as it tracks from the Gulf Coast states to the Mid-Atlantic.
