DETROIT (FOX 2) - The 36th District Court judge couldn’t believe the allegations as he read them. Robert Pugh is accused of shooting an 18-year-old with autism in the back. "It says 5-foot-3, and 90 pounds?" the judge said. "The allegations were that he was running. The defendant was firing shots at him. "The court finds that very, very troubling if those allegations are true." Pugh had his first appearance in court Thursday, two days after he turned himself in.

An 81-year-old Metro Detroit man is accused of having more than 1,000 images of custom-made child porn. The backstory: James Meloche is accused of altering photos of kids by placing images of children onto pornographic photos of adults. He’s charged with three counts of child sexually abusive activity, three counts of using a computer to commit a crime and three counts of possession of child sexually abusive material.

Peter Lyoya shared the heartbreak of losing his son to a police shooting three years ago, in a case that made national headlines. "We can not fill the void Patrick has left. We’re still mourning Patrick," said Lyoya through an interpreter. "The entire world have seen what happened to him." The backstory: Patrick Lyoya was killed, shot in the back of the head after a struggle with former Grand Rapids Police Officer Christopher Schurr on April 4th, 2022. Schurr was charged with second-degree murder.

Students were forced into lockdown after a fight turned dangerous with one student pulling out a knife at Garden City's alternative high school. An administrator with Garden City schools said the fight was between two upperclassmen around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. School officials said the student who pulled a knife out, got punched in the face leaving his nose broken. Meanwhile a male teacher– trying to break up the fight - was poked with the knife in the back of his arm.
