City of Wabash receives $35,000 parks grant

WABASH — A pair of greenspaces in Wabash will become more beautified in the coming months thanks to a grant provided by Duke Energy Foundation. Wabash was awarded a $35,000 grant as part of a statewide program aiding conservation groups and local governments undertaking a wide range of environmental initiatives to enhance parks and greenways, help natural habitats thrive, as well as expand outdoor recreational and educational opportunities.
