Benny Glaser has added to his reputation as the top European player in World Series of Poker history. The British poker pro won the $1,500 buy-in Dealers Choice tournament on Monday at Horseshoe Las Vegas to earn his sixth career WSOP bracelet, which are awarded for tournament victories. Glaser has more career WSOP victories than any player from Europe. He is the 26th player in WSOP history with six or more bracelets.

Daniel Negreanu is in the mix for another World Series of Poker title. The seven-time WSOP champion and Poker Hall of Fame member reached the final table of the $10,000 buy-in Omaha High-Low 8 or Better Championship at Horseshoe Las Vegas. Negreanu sits third in chips with five players remaining. The tournament resumes at 2 p.m. Tuesday and will be streamed on a one-hour delay by subscription service PokerGO. The winner will take home $470,437.

Phil Hellmuth has reversed course and will play the World Series of Poker Main Event this summer. The all-time leader in WSOP tournament victories had an apparent change of heart and announced on social media early Thursday he was β100% playingβ in the $10,000 buy-in No-limit Texas Holdβem World Championship. The WSOP Main Event begins July 2 at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas.

Jonathan Tamayoβs victory at last yearβs World Series of Poker Main Event was almost overshadowed by the controversy at the final table. Tournament officials made sure there wonβt be another Laptopgate this summer. When the 56th running of the WSOP gets underway Tuesday at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas, new rules will be in effect prohibiting players from using real-time electronic assistance tools and receiving coaching during tournament action.
