Nearly all voting documents must be in English, and no other language. That's according to an Iowa Supreme Court ruling on Friday, overruling a district court decision from 2023. The Supreme Court ruled that the League of United Latin American Citizens of Iowa, or LULAC, does not have standing to bring this lawsuit forward, with the court clarifying that they were not ruling on the law itself. This dates back to the Iowa English Language Reaffirmation Act, signed into law in 2002.
