As of April 1, the sheriff's office notified Harrison Township that it will only respond to emergencies there. Harrison Township is in the far western part of Hamilton County, right on the Indiana border. The people there enjoy some of the lowest property taxes in the state. The sheriff's office has provided police services there since 2011 without compensation.

Ohio River in Cincinnati now dropped significantly from crest Monday . In East End, streets still flooded, but many now accessible on foot, instead of by boat. Went there and found people cleaning up and engineer who may have key to help before belongings are ruined. @Local12 https://t.co/I5kudnsAsC
