LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - It's been called by some a stunning failure. In June of 20-24, the chief operating officer for the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid stepped down because of all the problems with the FAFSA Simplification Act. Now that students are headed back to school for the first semester after the substantial change, FAFSA is back in the news again with more problems, and students are asking for help.
