Check out where the road closures are in Cambridgeshire. (Image: Newsquest) Here are the roadworks and traffic alerts for Cambridgeshire's roads for the week beginning May 12. Westfield Road, Peterborough Road closure between Bourges Boulevard and Lime Kiln Close. Eastbound traffic will be able to pass over the bridge. Diversion route in place. This work is part of a large scale project to stabilise the bridge. This will be in place for several weeks during the Spring and Summer, 2025.

Already the new seating on the Market Square has been providing people with a space to sit and chat and the new trees and plants provide a welcome link with nature. The names of some well-known local people have also been included around the square to increase connection with the town’s history. St Neots Town Council are planning a weekend of events and activities on the square over the half term weekend of May 24-26.

Leslie Meeks was born 1925 in Caxton, to Alexander and Esther Meeks. His family moved to Eaton Ford soon after his birth. At the time of the 1939 census he was a newspaper boy, aged 14, but just four short years later he had won the Military Cross.
