The resort's guests raised a total of £6,873 in just three months by taking part in the Room2Give scheme, which encourages them to opt out of room cleaning services during longer stays. By doing so, guests not only contributed to a reduction in energy usage but also aided three community organisations. The funds have been distributed to The Pavement Project in Bedford, Samuel Pepys School in St Neots, and Woodgreen Pets Charity in Godmanchester.

In the first incident, about 200 litres of diesel was stolen from an irrigation pump at a farm in Little London, Isleham. This happened in the space of just 15 minutes on April 26, between 11pm and 11.15pm. The irrigation pipes were also damaged by a vehicle running over them. The same farm was struck again a week later, with roughly 300 litres of diesel stolen from an irrigation pump between 1am and 1.15am on May 4.
