“I was shocked at the camera control opportunities the Hive System offers. It can activate the all the features of our remote PTZ cameras, including iris and exposure, color control, movement and auto-tracking --- all remotely, which really opens up the door to add energy, a better look and a more rounded video experience across all our venues.” That’s Brad Christian, production and service programming director at Freedom House Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Capture’25 is coming soon! This is the ninth year for the video production, streaming and digital communications summit for churches and there’s so much in store for attendees this year. It will be held for a second time at Woodlands Church in The Woodlands, Texas, June 24-25. “Woodlands Church, led by Pastor Kerry Shook, is a hugely influential church. AJ Layton is the lighting director at Grace Family Church in Tampa, Florida. As part of this Church Production Road Test User Experience, Layton and his team agreed to try out ADJ’s Focus Spot 7Z. The fixture offers 20,000 Lumens of output and beam-shaping features that include CMY+CTO color mixing, animation wheel, rotating gobo wheels, prism options and frost filters. “We got to use it during our weekend services over a couple of weekends as well as our youth service,” Layton explains.
