An ABC11 crew at the scene witnessed campus police officers taking down several people and detaining them. An NCCU spokesperson said the gathering was "an unauthorized rally" and said at least three of the people detained were not affiliated with the university.

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A former chorus teacher for West Johnston High School is facing indecent liberties with a student charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a student. According to the Johnston County Sheriff's Office (JCSO), 38-year-old Joshua Johnson has been arrested in the investigation. The alleged crime happened on the school's campus, according to documents.

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Wake County School Board met again Tuesday to further discuss how to address cell phones on district campuses. The move comes as Senate Bill 55, which tackles regulating phones on school campuses, works its way through the legislative process. Currently, district policy makes way for school administrators at each school to enforce a policy that works best for each campus. However, the district is drafting a county-wide policy that falls shy of one-size-fits-all.

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Ahead of a policy committee meeting inside the Wake County Public Schools headquarters, students and parents are beginning to consider how they want the topic to be addressed. "I didn't have a phone until I was 16. You don't need a phone at 11," said one mother who did not want to be identified. "I think it's a huge distraction. So that's why (my daughter) has a watch and then she leaves her iPad at home. You don't need a phone in school if you have those.

Panthers put another 3 on the board with a FG. 11 plays, 62 yards on that last drive. 13-9 Saints.

Saints jump ahead and improve lead to 13-6 with 2:56 left to play in the 3rd quarter.

Ya hate to see it! Panthers were in a good position to put themselves ahead at the break. But Bryce Young fumbled the ball on a scramble. Saints recover.
