(WNCN) — A crash involving an overturned dump truck closed a section of U.S. 1 in Raleigh Tuesday afternoon for approximately 1 1/2 hours, the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Among the students were 5th grader Peyton Brafford and his sister Avalyn, who is in kindergarten. “It looked like the SUV was speeding,” Peyton said.
