    Kapuskasing’s Sensenbrenner Hospital and the Centre de Sante are teaming up to provide bilingual grief support group sessions starting Wednesday May 21st. The meetings will run about 90 minutes from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Centre de Sante with a new topic discussed each week for six weeks. Support worker Chantal Belanger-Lacroix says group therapy programs were lacking in the community and is looking forward to filling that void. She adds anyone who has suffered a loss is welcome to attend.

    The Warm Belly Kitchen and Kapuskasing Food Bank managed to sell 7,887 Tim Horton’s Smile Cookies last week. The money will be shared between both organizations and help their respective budgets. Kitchen Coordinator Amanda Rickard credited the Universite de Hearst students and the two organizations’ fundraising team for their support and volunteering.
