    MACHESNEY PARK (WREX) — A 40-year-old man died Saturday after losing control of his motorcycle in Machesney Park, just east of Perryville Rd. on West Lane Rd.Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department responded to West Lane Road and Mitchell Road after a report of a motorcycle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, deputies located a Harley Davidson motorcycle laying on its side. The man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

    FREEPORT (WREX) — As Luke Norman and I sit in a quiet Mort's Bar and Grill, he can't help but share his feelings on being fired as Highland's basketball coach. "It hurts that I feel like I got kind of backdoored by our own administration" Norman said. It stems from a postgame fight and the forfeiting of games that followed. Norman says his team followed NJCAA protocols and forfeited two games. The Region wanted them to forfeit another game, but Norman felt the school should appeal that ruling.
