LAKE VIEW, N.Y. (WKBW) — Friends are still in shock over the sudden death of Joene Pease, after her family’s Lake View home exploded Monday night. 20 people gathered at the Lake View Community Church to pray for the family. Joene was killed in that explosion. First responders saved her husband, John, who remains hospitalized in critical condition, and their family dog. On Wednesday night, roughly 20 friends gathered at Lake View Community Church, which the Peases attended.

DEPEW, N.Y. (WKBW) — Natalie Barnhard-Castrogiovanni just lived out the dream of many. Saying yes to her wedding dress on TLC’s famous show ‘Say Yes to the Dress.’Natalie first went to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City back in 2022, before her and her now-husband Steve’s 2023 wedding. Natalie is in a wheelchair after she suffered a severe back injury in a work accident back in 2004.

The family that had originally founded Mister Sizzle’s opened a second location of ‘Augie’s’ at their former restaurant’s original location. In April, Chris and Casey Casas, co-founders of "Mister Sizzle's," teamed up with Brian Windschitl to rebrand the business and opened its first location under the new name, "Augie's" in Hamburg.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — I spoke with Adreana Jemison, the woman involved in the viral road rage incident in Cheektowaga earlier this week, and she shared her story. The incident on Tuesday morning has led to the arrest of 34-year-old Justin Goodrich from Lancaster. His employer, United Refrigeration, told me that he no longer works for the company.
