His latest adaptation is coming on the defensive side, where Illinois will look for tweaks to maximize the results at that end. Underwood announced on Monday that new assistant Camryn Crocker will take over as the defensive coordinator for the program. Zach Hamer, who previously served in that role, will transition to a position centered around player development and analytics.
