TAYLORSVILLE — A high-speed police chase ended in a chaotic situation with troopers in Taylorsville Wednesday night. One officer suffered minor injuries, and a suspect has been arrested. Sometime before 8 p.m., the police pursuit began in the south part of Salt Lake County, according to Lt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol.

Due to a police incident, please avoid the area of 6200 South and 2200 West. Officers have closed access to some streets there. We will provide an update as soon as the area is clear again.
