The expansion of a popular Port Coquitlam juice bar into Coquitlam Centre is a full circle moment for its owners. Callan and Jessica Morrison were joined by several Tri-Cities community leaders, dignitaries and supporters tonight, Oct. 13, for Squish Juicery's official grand opening inside the mall. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at what the Morrison's are calling "Squish 2.0," located down the hall from the food court near House of Knives.

The only constant in life is change, said an ancient Greek philosopher. And nowhere is that more true than in journalism. I have spent more than 40 years covering change in Metro Vancouver, and now, I'm about to embark on changes of my own. I retire at the end of September, and will move on to the next phase of my life. A Port Coquitlam custom cake baking team has done it again — winning another massive prize with a Halloween-themed dessert that scared the pants off Food Network judges. Team Cake Magic, made up of Cassandra Curtis, Emily Skazlic and Dalana Fleming, won $10,000 on Season 4 of The Big Bake with the episode available for watching on Stack TV and Food Network.
