Hunter, the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, was a two-way star at Colorado, playing both wide receiver and cornerback.

    The New Orleans Saints are signing running back Cam Akers, a league source confirmed to The Athletic. Akers participated in the Saints' minicamp this week and must have impressed new coach Kellen Moore and his staff. The 2020 second-round pick spent last season with the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings and tallied a combined 512 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns in 2024.

Cook, who turns 26 in September, has been fairly public about his desire for a new contract. He's in the final year of his four-year rookie contract, which expires in March.

McLaurin skipped OTAs and minicamp three years ago before he inked his last extension. As he enters the final year of his deal, he is not showing up again. A third-round draft pick out of Ohio State in 2019, McLaurin signed a three-year, $71 million contract extension in June 2022, after opting to sit out of Washington's offseason program.
