THREE houses on the Hyde Road were targeted by gunmen in the early hours of this Thursday morning, Limerick Live has learned. The woman who perished in a house fire in Limerick city in the early hours of Saturday morning has been named locally as Rita Brick, as reported by the Limerick Leader. She has been remembered as a great friend and neighbour, who enjoyed a chat and always had a smile for everyone. Emergency services, including Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, responded to the blaze at a property in Wolfe Tone Street after the alarm was raised.
