TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Highs today will be in the upper 60s-low 70s with scattered rain through the day. The highest chance of rain will be north and west of Topeka meaning areas along and south of the turnpike will have more of a dry day. As always we’ll be monitoring the radar in case the forecast changes. The good news is severe weather is unlikely with lightning the main threat.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Behind last night’s cold front, today will be much cooler with lower humidity. For the most part it will be dry as well with the rain returning tonight into tomorrow. The good news is the risk for severe weather is very low to no risk the rest of the week although we’ll continue to monitor the isolated flooding potential. Taking Action:Have the sunglasses handy today with a mix of sun and clouds.
