    Apparently, the view from Josh Kroenke’s seat inside Ball Arena was the same as ours. Team that appears to have lost interest: Check. Defensive coach that can’t get his team to play defense: Check. General manager that has a nasty habit of publicly criticizing his coach and players: Check. Coach who clearly doesn’t embrace the general manager’s vision: Check. No. Depth. What. So. Ever. (For two seasons now): Check. Superstar player(s) very, very unhappy: Check.

    Boulder, Colorado is now the home of one of college football’s top-five highest paid coaches. The Buffs are Primetime. For real. For five years. Per Brian Howell of the Daily Camera: “On Friday, CU athletic director Rick George announced a new five-year, $54 million contract for Sanders that will make him one of the highest-paid coaches in the country. The contract was unanimously approved by CU’s board of regents on Friday morning.”What other choice did George and his school gave?

    Just who exactly are these Denver Nuggets? No Luka or LeBron? Take that L…at the buzzer…on the way out. Joker, Jamal and all? Worked by the Wizards. No Joker, Jamal or Christian Braun? Big win in the Bay (or perhaps Luck of the Irish). No Joker nor Jamal? In an L.A. haze. No, no, no… no clue. To put it mildly, the Denver Nuggets make no sense whatsoever.

    If Little Johnny’s report card isn’t so good (or is it ain’t so good?), there’s really only one thing a parent can request:Johnny, do better next time. If the Denver Broncos are Little Johnny, mission accomplished. Yesterday, the NFLPA released its annual team-by-team report card, a player-based assessment of how each franchise is viewed in a multitude of categories. On the aggregate, the Broncos ranked 17th in the NFL, down one from last year’s No. 16 rating.
