The station, which the city calls "a modern facility built to enhance emergency response capabilities and ensure the safety of our residents" is located on South Court Street near the intersection with Fairview Avenue.

Singleton then recounted how he was driving on Washington Street, near Southern Poverty Law Center, when another driver ran a red light at the intersection with Hull Street.
