It is based in Columbus, Georgia, and serves the Chattahoochee Valley region, which includes parts of west-central Georgia and east-central Alabama. The station is affiliated with both NBC and CW+. WLTZ is owned by SagamoreHill Broadcasting, which is located in Augusta, and is operated through a shared services agreement by Gray Television. This makes it a sibling station to WTVM, the ABC affiliate on channel 9. Gray Television also operates WXTX, the Fox affiliate on channel 54, under a different shared services agreement.
